Julia was sitting on the corner of the street, her knees hugged close to herself. She was twirling a small, white daisy in her hands. She has plucked out from between the cranks in the sidewalk.she tugged out a few petals and tossed them for the wind to eat up.She soon grew bored of the the flower and closed the hand around it.Adding presser, she felt the flower crush under her power.when she opened her hand, in her palm was a small amount of white dust.It was whatever left of the flower. She let the wind eat it out of her hand.
She dusted her hand off on her jeans and stretched her legs out on the sidewalk.Julia looked down at her bare feet, there soles blacken from the dirt of the town. She had stopped wearing shoes about a half-year ago.Who needed shoes when you could run as fast as she could? She leaned her head back against the building she leaned against and watch as people walked across the road. She wonder who out of them were mutants, and who there the humans. Its seemed funny to her, from were she was sitting, they all looked the same.

Unlike Kyle, Nightcrawler, and Beast, most mutants did look like humans. It was what made them so hard to tell from “innocent” people when the army attacked. But, there were some differences. Like, Elu was cold. To the touch, he was cold. And pale, though, a lot of people were hiding in their homes when mutant gangs were on the warpath, and they turned pale from lack of sun. Subtle differences, but differences. Easy ones to find if you knew what to look for. But most people didn’t touch Elu, he wouldn’t let them. Something about his almost Midas Touch keeping him from contact with others. Silly really.
Elu walked along the roads of the town. Classes were out for the weekend, so he was enjoying a bit of freedom the close-quarters couldn’t give. He loved the place, yes, but he didn’t like being around huge masses of people like that. And considering how shiny everything was in his room, it was distracting. So, he needed a bit of time away. And the road was nice, quiet and warm. For once, he could feel a bit of heat. He didn't like the cold, but it seemed to follow him everywhere. Glancing around, he crossed the street and came to the sidewalk on the other side. Not that he had to worry about cars hitting him, they wouldn’t do anything. Just old habit.
Turning the direction he had just come from, he stopped, finding a girl there instead. He had been circling the same area of town for a while, and this was the first he’d seen her. How interesting.
“Hello.”

Julia looked up, started out of her thoughts. When she looked up she saw a boy that she thought that she had seen be for.It took her a moment to think of where she had seen him be for and then it clicked. He was from the school. She got up, try to be as slow as she could."Hello."She said, trying to remember his name and failed. She was nervous and that made her jumpy. She didn't want to run, heck, if she did there was no way he could see.To fast. But it hurt to run, it snapped her heart. The last time, she had been running from somebody and had crashed into the broad side of a train.she had snapped a couple rips, the first time she had ever felt physical pain and they were still sore,"Have I seen you around school?" she asked. She hoped that he really do go to there school, if he didn't, maybe she would really have to run for it."I'm Julia."She said.A normal person would hold there hand out for a hearty shake. Not are mousy little Julia. She looked down at her palms and noticed there was still some chalking powder from the crushed flower. She rubbed her hand onto her pant leg, turning it a bit white. She looked back up the boy with her large, doe-like eyes.He looked worth of her trust, but looks weren't every thing.

“Uh-huh.” Man of many words this Elu person. He was content to watch her in the many things she did in such a short time span. The standing, the talking, the moving, the looking. There was a lot going on in her brain. Nothing was going on in Elu’s, I can guarantee that. But he was pleasant, and smiled at her as he caught her name.
“Elu, good to meet. Yeah, around school maybe. You go to the X school too?” Not that it would really matter, he’d seem people come and go as they pleased, seen some stay and be good, and others go off to kill. And then there were the humans that would think one thing, he’d say another, and would throw rocks at him.
Good thing about being dead, you didn’t tend to notice being hurt much. You feel things, but they don’t really matter much anymore.

Julia nodded, taking in his name. Elu. She would have to remember that. Julia was good with faces, names where another story." Yes, I go to the X school." She answered. She looked down at her feet when she talked, her arms crossed protectively over herself. The small, mousy girl had never been very good to talking to strange, preferring to hide behind her mothers leg. Without anything to hide behind, she felt over-exposed.That was funny, considering this Elu person could do no harm to her. If anybody every tried anything funny, they would end up with the same fate as the poor flower. She shook her head. She shouldn't about that. Besides, It hurt her to use her powers. Hurt was not on Julia's list on things she wanted for today.
Despite her negative thoughts, this Elu boy looked calm and almost as quite as her, and that wasn't something that happened to her often. A boy talking to her. Or anybody that quite. Hopefully, he wasn't as shy as she.

“Ah. Very nice.” Elu was quickly growing bored. It happened when you didn’t have to do anything. Didn’t have to eat, drink, breathe, anything like that. Everything just kind of drifted by. It was sad, but it happened to those that shouldn’t really be there. He was dead after all. Looking at the ground he chewed his lip a little bit before nodding to his shoes and taking a few steps forward.
“Want to do something? It’s a little dull out here, nothing really happens in this place. Sometimes it’s nice but right now it’s kind of slow.” (I’m sorry, I really am. Why do I suck so much right now?!)

Julia quickly stepped back. It wasn't that she didn't like Elu, it wasn't that at all, it was just her nature. She didn't want anybody to get hurt because of her. Sometimes she couldn't control herself. You could be going in for a nice, friendly hug and you could end up with a splintered rib Cage. She closed her eyes, she didn't want to think about that. She forced her self to open then when she heard Elu speak. What about what ? Did she want to do something. Julia couldn't remember the last time somebody had asked the mousy girl to do anything.
She looked up at Elu and smiled. That was something rare, her own little eclipse. She had a nice smile, it was bright and sunny. It showed how she really was on the inside. Her personality really didn't match her clam domineer. "Sure, what would you like to do ? " she answered, throwing another question back at Elu. What he want to do was fine with her really. That was just Julia, going with the flow of the world around her. "How about some Coffee ? " A simple suggestion wouldn't hurt her, she hoped. When was the last time she had talked to another person for so long ? Usually it was the quite, mumbled thank you, or excuse me. This was different and new. And to Julia, strangely exciting.
[MS, dear, everybody is allowed to have an off-day. Not everybody's muse is gonna be in top form all the time! Its fine, really. :3 ]
